Up to 8 Projects Per Year

Community WebsiteSponsorship Program

Each year, I set aside time to build websites for a small number of organizations doing meaningful work in their communities.

Why This Program Exists

I believe a well-made website shouldn't only be available to those with the budget for one. Some organizations are doing important work with limited resources. If I can help a few of them show up online with clarity and professionalism, that feels like time well spent.

What's Included

Sponsored projects receive the same care and quality as my paid work

  • A custom-designed website tailored to your organization's needs
  • Responsive design that works well on all devices
  • Hosting setup and launch support
  • The first year of your domain covered, if needed
  • Ongoing guidance as questions come up

Expectations and Boundaries

I take on up to eight sponsored projects per year, about two per quarter. Timelines are flexible and depend on my current workload.

Paid client work is prioritized, which means sponsored projects may move more slowly at times. I'll always communicate clearly about timing, and I'll never disappear on you, but I ask for patience and understanding in return.

After the first year, domain renewal is typically your organization's responsibility. I'm happy to walk you through that process when the time comes.

Is This Right for You?

This program works best for certain types of organizations

Good Fit

  • Nonprofit organizations serving their communities
  • Grassroots groups and local initiatives
  • Small LGBTQ-owned businesses just getting started
  • Community projects with a clear mission and limited resources
  • Second-chance entrepreneurs rebuilding their lives through small business

Not the Right Fit

  • Established businesses with existing revenue
  • Organizations that need complex functionality or e-commerce
  • Projects requiring ongoing content management or marketing support
  • Anyone looking for a quick turnaround

If your needs are more involved, I'd be glad to discuss a paid engagement instead.

Selection Process

I review applications periodically throughout the year. Not every application will result in a sponsorship. Capacity is limited, and fit matters on both sides.

If your project isn't selected for sponsorship but still feels like a good match, I may reach out to discuss working together in a paid capacity. There's no obligation either way.
